Oh man, I wish I had these available back when I was building out Windsor St! Hell, I may even still use them while reconstituting it to keep things simple.
Thanks for the great product, even if we tend to be picky around here. Worst case scenario, we can ALWAYS make our own fascia plate covers.

I agree with Peteski - your product looks great and no doubt will be a popular item. I really like the RJ45 option.

When I was building my layout I thought about doing something similar, but instead of using a socket I found a terminal block that had the same pin spacing as the Tortoise and just soldered them directly to it. An unintended bonus was that they came in green to match!

Sorry - no I don't. I put these together about 15 years ago. At the time I think I got them from allelectronics.com for a good price, but I can't say for sure.

It shouldn't be difficult to find them at any of the electronics supply houses online, though. I think the pin spacing on the Tortoise is 3.5mm (but don't quote me on that).

In fact, as I recall the pins didn't line up precisely -- maybe a difference in pitch of 0.2 mm, -- but all I had to do was slightly enlarge the two outermost holes on the Tortoise.
