Anyone know if the flat is the ex BLMA ACF F89 or the flush side ACF? If it is the later, have they fixed the coupler shank lengh and wheel clearance issues?
I don't know if they were actually used in interchange, but I doubt that they got very far from Tacoma. Most railroad-owned log cars tended to stay pretty close to home rails. If your railroad is in western Washington, especially if it interchanges with the MILW, it would be possible. They did meet interchange standards.
I'm modeling the OE. So if they could make it to Vancouver and over the stream to any of the mills down around Albany, Eugene, Sweet Home... I'll be making an Atlas purchase of a couple cars.
MTL 1016 or 1019 don’t fit in the coupler box?
