Well done. I was born and raised in the area (Mojave) and you captured the ambiance quite nicely.

Hi Giorgio, and my best compliment for this new creature!
Nice landscape rendering, I well remember my Loop trip ... well, something like 25 years ago now, sigh!

You define it as "modular" ... why, as I don't see any "module" junction on your movie? Have you build the bench in sections?
Curious also about the backboard and the backdrop: a picture or a commercial product?
I have a similar solution on my "on hold but waiting my retirement soon" Coast layout.... and plan to scratch-build the Kaiser Permanente cement plant ...
Have to find a moment to visit you... I know I said this so many times, sorry:)
AND... don't forget to post a picture on "our" Italian US Forum here: http://enzofortuna.altervista.org/forum/
Keep your great enthusiasm alive: good job as usual!

Enzo ciao
Yes the layout is modular, 8 modules 2’x4’ each.
The backdrop is a file produced by the famous Pelle Søeberg I was able to print it in a large digital HP machine.
I hope you will find time to visit me in Bologna to see directly this and all my other layout.
Bye
Giorgio

Monolith looks better than any model I've seen. Pelle would be proud.
