LED "Betz Lights"

These wonderful things from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Barrina-Integrated-Fixture-Utility-Electric/dp/B07DNPL2VC/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1551119268&sr=8-7&keywords=led%2Blights&th=1

They've turned my basement from a seedy bar into a grow house for <$100. They're incredibly easy to install and can be powered from the mains or outlets.

I've been calling them "Betz Lights" in honor of @DeltaBravo who turned me onto them.

@Ed Kapuscinski,

I moved the subject over here, so that we don't continue to take over Adam's thread.  So, talk to me about these LED lights.  They may be what I need to solve the lighting issues in my train room.  I have a few of the four-bulb fluorescent fixtures over my layout that the previous homeowner put up.  They're just installed in a haphazard manner and not necessarily where I need to them to properly light the layout.  These lights might be the ticket.

I assume that I could take down one or two of the existing fixtures, which are wired into the wall switch, and then wire these things in series, without worry of six LED fixtures overpowering the circuit (especially if it replaces two four-tube fluorescent fixtures).

How is the color at 6500K?  Too stark?  Too blue?  Got any pictures?  For $58.99, you really get eight fixtures and bulbs?!

Thanks,
DFF

Thanks, but I think I'm looking more for the tube style of lights for more general lighting than the down lights in those cans.

@davefoxx buy some now...

I bought some to augment the other LEDs I installed.

They are pretty damn great and I think a better option then the other LEDs I bought

@CodyO,

If you say so, that's good enough for me!  Ordered.  For some reason, Amazon also threw a 5% off coupon at me, so the final price for eight fixtures was $56.04 shipped.  Not bad.

Dave, you can buy direct-fit fluorescent bulb replacement LED lamps, but if cost is a factor, those will be more expensive than those Betz Ligths.  The 6500K color temperature seems a bit stark to me, but I think some modelers love the "natural sunny day" light.

I'm a little concerned about the color, too, but now a couple of guys have given rave reviews, so, for that price for LEDs, I'm giving it a shot.

Haha!  Maybe something better will show up on your porch tomorrow.  Must be like Christmas every day at your house.  And, if you sell all of your free Amazon sh!t, you can then buy stuff you really want.  :P

I must be missing something. Are you gaga over fixtures or the light bulbs? Which fixture goes with those bulbs?

It's a fixture and bulb in one.
