Briggs Models needs your help

We are looking at our March/April project and we would like to do a freight car which can be or was seen across North America.

We wanted to ask you, the modelers, what freight car you would like to see Briggs Models produce in N Scale?

This car can be any era. The only real limitation is that we would need to be able to sell 100-200 of them to make it a worthwhile project.

We have had several suggestions already and they are listed below.

•   Cylindrical 2-bay Sodium Chlorate cars (Procor, CGLX, NCHX & etc.)
•   Gunderson,Trinity & NSC 60’ TBOX High cube box cars
•   National Steel BN/BNSF COIL CAR (series BN 686245-686448), and/or the XL version
•   Acid Tank Cars
•   Great Northern  4209 XL box car series 4200-4399
•   Northern Pacific NP5042 XM box car Series 5000-5295
•   Northern Pacific NP5440 XM Series 5300-5699 & BN 315651 series BN 315300-315699

Please feel free to make suggestions or contact me at chrisd@briggsmanufacturingassociates.com

I'd be good for a dozen or more of these.

Id' like a couple of the little bromine tanks.

I'd really love the TBOX.  Like multiple cars love.

I second the bromine tank car! Alternatively, other small diameter tank cars such as these chlorine cars would be very interesting:

Black Cat has the artwork for CIL tank cars in HO, and has already printed an n scale set for me... just sayin'  :D

Agree on the small-diameter tank cars. I'd be good for two.

Acid tanks would be great. I would also suggest 19k gallon corn syrup cats which look much bulkier than the Atlas 17k version. These have almost entirely taken over the  syrup transport business. Staley/Tate&Lyle versions are desperately needed.

I've built one of those.
It's been painted since this photo was taken but I want to re-do the paint job with a more as new color as I had purposefully applied a faded color when I was modeling early BN.
I had custom decals made by a nice lady Brian Morgan in BC recommended.

I'd also really be in for a few of these.

and/or these (welded verses riveted)

Was hoping that Atlas would eventually be getting off their laurels and doing one of these in N scale...the HO ones are beautiful!
