Most, if not all of these come out of the paint shop like that already don't they ?  They don't last long on the rails before someone gets them

Hey @Shipsure you can move this up in the release schedule, I will not mind. :)
Awesome release, and it looks like you are pushing the bar in terms of detail with this one.  Can’t wait for the graffiti version.

Ah $hit, so how many numbers are you thinking ?  Going to do 1-offs, a 4 runner pack ?  I couldn't do a 16, unless others wanted to split a set :D

I think marketing is working that out as we speak.  There will be singles but I think offering multi packs up front might happen.
in my civvies here.  I only represent my grandmothers home made Mac and Cheese on Railwire.

Methinks that is a proto pic.  ;)

Hmmm... I definitely be in for a couple of 4 packs or an 8 pack... more if other schemes were produced, CN top of the list for me.

Cheers,

Joe,

I think the urban art ones may sell better than the "virgin" canvases.  :D

@Shipsure perhaps an un-numbered version would be another option, for modelers who want to do custom work?

My wallet is hurting already. 2 and 4 packs would be awesome. 8 and 16 will really hurt the wallet. I cannot imagine the price on a 16 pack of grafittied cars given the amount and color of inks. $400+ would be an easy figure to exceed.

Graffiti cars (and actually many other recent MTL releases) are not Tampo-printed, but are decorated on a ink jet printer.  Even most of the weathering is done that way. So the old pricing where the number of print passes (colors) decide the price of the model is no longer relevant.  All the colors are automatically printed on the cars.

You know, I ahd not looke at pricing recently to see if they were changing the pricing in some way. It would be nice if they stopped that pricing practice.

I'm sure they charge premium for graffiti/weathering, but likely isn't directly dependent on how colorful the artwork is.

Please tell me these will have a scale height body and proper ride height and truck spacing.

You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
