I don't understand what more convincing is needed.  $47 and there are still 5 days left on the auction.  And this car has truck mounted couplers and no etched parts.

The seller has a second one, also $47 with 19 bids.   Also has a couple 50' TBOX, but only currently at ~$10

I predict that in two years time there will be 3 manufacturers offering TBOX models, just like we've seen happen with 53' containers.  If it turns out that one makes a Gunderson, another makes a Trinity, and a third makes an NSC, I'll be over the moon.

Perhaps but this has been typical for a couple years.  If those guys who don't understand ebay bidding weren't doing that, the snipers would still drive the prices up to that.

Meh, they would do three initial releases in Railgon, Pennsy, and Circus, and then nothing else for three years before gaudy graffiti Pennsy and undec.

I don't know about that. Demand would scale down as you go forward, but yeah, whoever makes them is going to see a bunch. I think Atlas announced these in HO, so I'm sure N is close.

Whoever does do them. You need to do some "virgin canvas" cars and some after the urban artists get to them. My buddy and I have a rule. If you see one un-tagged, you have to shoot because it won't be next time we do.

Not everything Atlas does in HO trickles down. Athearn did them also. Still no decent N scale modern 60’ High cube cars.

If demand is decent enough in HO , they'll do them in N. It wouldn't make any sense not too, unless somebody else already is and we would not necessarily know if the other party(s) are.
