Horn change on a 73800 LocSound

Just install a 73800 into a Kato ES4400AC unit. Horn is very week with the one that comes with the download, So I tried to change it via using CV48.
I inter different values but the horn stays the same. a K3HA
There are only 9 horns listed in the sound file not 16

When I look in the sound file,  with the Lok programmer the horn listed does not change when I change it in CV48.

I should be able to change the horn right?

In the LokProgrammer on the "sound slot settings" page, try changing the value up or down in the little "sound configuration" window. You should see the horn type change in the assigned sound slot on the left. At least, this is what I've found with my ESU sound files thus far and I haven't noticed anything else changing when I do this...so far anyway. Regarding just changing CV48, it's been a while since I did it this way (and when I did, I changed the CV on the main) but I seem to recall maybe having to remove the loco from the track power after the CV change and then returning it. YMMV.

Yep, if you mess with cv48 you have to interrupt the power for a while for it to take.  I just tilt the loco off one rail for a couple of seconds.
