Amazon had the Anycubic Photon also. Price is listed as $519.00 which is higher than some but still not bad. Prime members get two day shipping free and my page shows a $70 coupon to bring the cost down to $449.00 shipped. Doesn't look like it includes any resin though. There are many offers of resin on the Amazon site for various prices. I don't know which are good deals.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078N2TSYSBuy it and use the Railwire code and share the wealth with @tom mann
This ought to be a banner image. "Railwire: expanding boundaries in all directions--for science!"
I'm going to be that guy.... Is this thing Mac compatible? I've been scrounging all over the 3d printers bay page and can't seem to find an answer. Thanks!
Before removing the part from the plate, I've been tilting and shaking it above the resin vat to let as much of the excess resin drip back in. Then I dip the part in a container full of 91% IPA and give it a good swishing, followed by a rinse in water, and repeated one more time. Granted there is a lot of 'inside' on this part to get drips out of, but it seems like the drip was already partially cured, so I'm not sure what exactly is happening there. This one barely sat for 5 minutes after the print completed. https://i.imgur.com/ADMxLPp.jpg
But, don't leave them soaking too long. I left a batch of Tank Treads soaking through the night and woke up to squishy parts. They'll dry out, but might have a slight warp to them now.
I had this experience with FUD when soaking in Windex to remove the acrylic paint I had screwed up. They didn't need to soak overnight, I just forgot about them. Next day they were mushy and visibly warped. They did dry out pretty quickly (within an hour or so?) and returned to the original dimension and properties to the best I could tell on the small part I was working on (a work bench).
