There are what appears to be large springs mounted on both sides of the draft gear boxes of those flat ore hopper cars.  Does that mean that the entire draft gear boxes swing to the sides on curves (like in N scale)?

Another finished Pullman.  This is a plan 3523 6-3 sleeper wearing New Haven paint. The “Hogarth” is built from KV Models etched sides, a Microtrains parlor car, Keystone Details under car details and Pullman 242a trucks.  Scratchbuilt interior.  I need to add the small “Pullman” letters to the corners but it’s pretty much done.

I am once again a seasonal modeler 

Been working on my VW pretty much everyday. Got the air ride all done. I drew some mounts up with CAD and had them cut in steel with a CNC plasma cutter    I got the body back on the frame and just minutes ago started it for the first time. The lighter green background color will be the body color... someday.

Air ride!?  That's going to be an interesting ride!  The engine looks like it is ready for a car show! And that green - wow! What a Beetle!

The Ms. Pacman, Frogger, and Gyruss are mine. They are up at the NW Pinball and Arcade expo in Tacoma, Wa this weekend. I also have one more machine, a Cocktail table Popeye, at the show also.

Is there a Battlezone somewhere in that bunch (out of the picture)?  That was probably my all-time favorite arcade game in the '80s!
