I have used Roy Stevens Nn3 tipper cars and have been tempted to try those ties but just can't bring myself to believe that FUD will stand up to this service. Maybe I should just try a set because it sure would make life easy.
The turnouts, too but then there's the plastic frog and I've got several short wheelbase, 4 wheel power trucks to run through them
... or not, as is most likely.
@randgust , would you want to split an order of those ties and we could both test them and get two individual opinions? I'm most worried about getting the track assembled and laid, not so worried about in service if it makes it that far.
