MTL May releases

I like the Chessie coal hoppers as it has the covers that were used to convert the coal hoppers to grain service. I'd seen pictures of these before. Also will probably pick up a Pennsy 50' boxcar.

Neat.  :)   Never thought I'd see one of those made.  I'm guessing a Conrail version isn't far behind.

@Shipsure are plans in the works to have these hopper toppers as a separate item for sale ?  I'd see them go well in 3 or 4 packs.  Great idea as a 4 pack to match up with your runner packs MT offers.

I really like the Allied Van Lines containers. I actually had a hand in the prototypes back in the day.  Fun times.  Had an HO container for awhile but sold it on eBay a few years back.

Whoa, Hopper Toppers! I'm in!

Same thing with the Pennsy box. That'll be a fun PC patch subject.

That depends on your definition of "alright".

This model is not an accurate representation of a X41H...and while on that subject, I can't think of a single example of a prototype that this model does match...

To any extent that this model is "close enough", it follows that the fact that these cars were on the roster sometime before 4/68 should also be "close enough" to a 1967 cutoff...

Here's the Chessie car.

http://www.trainweb.org/chessiephotos/photos/Hopper/hopper12.jpg

I searched through my folder of these and there were always a few together.  So I'll need more than one.  I've got some CSX hopper pictures too so these lasted until the early nineties.

@Shipsure any chance of a two pack of these cars some time in the future?

A question about the TTG UP Baggage/RPO: I love the looks, but does it resemble anything UP actually had?
Weren't most of their heavyweight headend cars Harrimans?
