All 9 have been sold. Hope that those of you that wanted one, got one.
Looks like 3 of the buyers bought two each. I guess we'll see those listed for over $100 in the next week :-)

Thanks to you Ryan, I got one!

It will remain in the box until I find the perfect use for it though, in case I ever decide to part with it. But I think I'll keep it 8)

It's kind of funny, BLW had them listed for $48.75 - limit one.
MBK has them listed for Full MSRP - limit one.
Another store that I talked with only got 10.
When I asked him what he was going to price them at, he replied "$64.95".
When I asked "Why?" he replied that they weren't given a very good discount due to the licensing.

Isn't a normal MSRP about twice the wholesale cost? Obviously BLW is making money at $48 so $32 seems about right.

Generally speaking, wholesale is around 40% off MSRP
The retailers will add about 20% (+/-) onto their price.

If you are pretty sure you are going to be able to sell all your stock @ MSRP, why would you discount?

Or is there some kind of charity arrangement I've missed out on :ashat:

They could also be called suckers for missing a good opportunity to make few more bucks.  Capitalism baby!   :D  But I'm with you Allen.

So following this logic, can we assume that any retailer that charges full MSRP for an item is being dishonest  :o

With six days to go, the first set to be listed at auction, rather than for a Buy-it-Now price, and its already over the original MSRP.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-Trainworx-57977-Peterbilt-379-W-trailer-Budweiser-Semi-Rig/162852978317?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

Apparently, when it comes to limited production Trainworks N-Scale tractor trailer sets, "you snooze, you loose".

Is this "Trainworx: the 21st Century Micro Trains" when it comes to collectability?  Actually, I think they are doing even better than Micro Trains ever did when it comes to becoming instant high-value collectibles.  But their runs of models are probably also smaller than Micro Trains, so there are fewer out there.
