I wonder if that MSRP includes a licensing fee. A/B's lawyers don't mess around...

The phenomenal popularity of TW's amazing trucks makes you wonder....

With 4 different Coalporters on the market at one time, how come no one else is getting on the truck/vehicle bandwagon?

I suspect the same success would come to light trucks, cars, delivery trucks, construction, mow....

I notice that most of his are KW or Peterbilt.  I wonder if Paccar is easier to deal with than most other truck manufacturers?  If that's the case, that would also limit what other model makers could make.

I’m holding out for the grain trailers and the dry bulk trailers. It’s hard to call $65 a lot for a semi when some of the TrainWorx semis have been selling for $300 on eBay. He’s making a quality product and the market is definitely there to sustain it.

Pat does have a license to produce the Freightliner Cascadia.

I know the Cascadia is too new for your modeling era (it's too new for mine as well) but hopefully it will work out well for Pat.

Although orders are being taken on a first come / first served basis, BLW is taking reservations (with a strict limit of one per customer) that are not guaranteed at $48.75 + $6.95 shipping, with delivery in ten±days.

Carter:  Yes, and he also has a couple of Internationals.  His models aren't ONLY KW and PB, but six of the nine in his first announcement photo were.  Also, it seems that other manufacturers seem to have more of them than other models, which is why I was wondering if they were easier to work with.

Karl:  I'm also waiting for grain trailers, and generic log trucks.  One dry bulk trailer would be nice - it could haul cement to my mining town, for transfer to the mining company's narrow gauge silo wagons.

It says “limited.” MT has made high prices in conjunction with the word limited there business model as long as I am aware of the company. I assume it will be a part of an ongoing series which will look nicely next to my Elvis porcelain plate collection.

I only saw the Trainworx announcement after they were all gone, but they've just released a cab and trailer with Budweiser markings. The original price was under $50 ... let's see how high the bids go once they get put on eBay. It was a VERY limited run, so the prices should go ballistic.

BLW already closed reservations - I have feeling that many of those will be resold in eBay.

I also feel that Trainworx is doing a disservice to the N scale community by releasing these models in such limited quantities. They are creating speculator's  market.  All the trucks TWX makes (including the truck parts) are pretty much instant sell-outs.   They could double the size of their runs and would still sell out. But I guess they know what they are doing.   :| Yes, I said the same thing for all the other very-limited releases they have done and I won't change my mind about this.  And also no need to explain to me how contract manufacturing in China works - also hear that few times.

I'm not getting any but there are 9 listed on ebay right now for $60 and free shipping.
