ZIMO MX-649 KA question

I have installed an MX-649 and I have put together the SPEIKOMP kit for (2) 330um tatalums with all the resistors and choke, but it seems a little bulky. Is it ok just to use the choke for this small of um (660um)?

If you look in the ZIMO small decoder manual (towards the end) it shows you many samples of cap install circuits.  I think that with a 660 micro-Farads capacitance you can get away with just using a current limiting resistor (and possibly a diode). But look in that manual (it is really helpful).  You can also find some really small chokes if that is what is needed. One rated for 1 Amp should be just fine in an N scale loco.  That is what I use.
