  I wish they had offered the NP flat whilst still in use by the NP, rather than a BNSF paint out.  Someday perhaps?

Flat's a new model? What's the prototype?

Now I'm torn between purchasing the DH lightning stripe version vs the Guilford version.  However, it would be cool to patch out the "G" for when they were returned to DH.

I'm probably in trouble with the freight bonnet GP39-2s... Especially if they were around in the early 90s...

Though the Kodachromes are pretty too...

GP39-2s will find a home. D&H and Reading. A few Reading will have to be weathered and patched for the D&H.

Don't forget to do the ones with the masking tape renumbers!

I'm definitely in for a Reading unit, and I might've just solved my D&H run-through power problem.

I'd really like Atlas to do more DCC sound models in N scale. They just have the one - ALCO S2 with sound - a fantastic model by all accounts.

Don't worry, given the last 2 announcements are sound, I'm sure more are in the pipeline.  Given the 38-2 and 39-2 share the same mech, I'd see 38/40/40-2 being rerun in short order and other models getting mechs revised to fit these new universal decoders
