I'm seeing the first photo, but not the second.

I'm using Firefox and Windows 7 Pro 64

Making slow but sure progress!

Okay...as to if the ?jpg isn't necessary...let me give it a try without it....

Photo (1) - Photo of 844 at Ogden without ?jpg

That's interesting.  I can see it when I preview it, but...can anybody else??

Why it was necessary a year or so ago, but isn't now is both interesting and frustrating.

When modifying the size, just modify the width and the height automatically adjusts itself to keep the photo in proportion.

Photo (2) - 844 at Ogden not using ?jpg and adjusting the width from 1452 to 500

Okay...that still works as far as my preview is concerned.  Everybody see both photos??

If these are visible at TRW, then things have gotten even more simple for the Google Photos users...which is good news!

EDIT:  It's been confirmed they're visible at TRW...good news :D

Cheerio!

I'm using Firefox on the home computer and can still see both images of Loren's and Bob's. However, when I look at the post on my phone (Android)  I can only see the first one of Loren's but I can still see both of Bob's.

Looking at the link to the second picture, you can see it's much shorter than the first picture and the two pictures I posted.  How did you upload the second picture?

On my Firefox 52.3.0, Windows XP SP3, both of Bob's are easily visible, but only the first of Loren's can be seen.

I guess adding -tmp.jpg also works instead of ?.jpg:
https://sites.google.com/site/picasaresources/Home/Picasa-FAQ/google-photos-1/how-to/how-to-get-a-direct-link-to-an-image

I'm already used to the ?.jpg so I'll keep it up.

I used that technique on my photos the other day and folks still said they couldn't see them.

I've got the first but not the second.  Great shot, Loren!

Bob, I see both.

Win 10 latest build and Chrome.

I gave up on Google and use Flickr.

I have never tired to put picures into my RW posts, so I am no expert.

However, it seems to me that there is a lesson here, and in the previous Photobukit mess: don't trust any third party with your pictures, because they will eventually change in any of multiple possible ways that will screw-up the posts, here.

So, isn't it posssible, and best, to send the actual jpeg to RW, and let them store them for the posts on their site?  That way, nothing is screwed-up by a third party who dosen't care, won't give notice, and won't help yo fix it.

I can see the first one of Loren's (3751 & ice deck), but not the second.  I can see both of Bob's

Using Linux Mint OS with Firefox browser.

Google keeps changing things as the years pass, so I would vote for hosting Railwire stuff on Railwire, going forward.
