Code 83 Micro Engineering Track...

Does anyone here use it, and if so, what do you think?

I've always thought of it as the best detailed and best performing track that one could buy for HO scale.   The turnouts are now DCC friendly with isolated frogs, and they have spring-toggled points.  You can get code 70 and 55 for sidings and spurs.  Initially it is somewhat stiff to work but will relax after a bit.  About the only down side is that they only offer a #6 turnout so if you want/need any other sizes you will have to build it yourself or swap in from another mfr.  I glue it to the cork roadbed with Polyseamseal adhesive caulk, and it can be (carefully) lifted up and re-used.

FWIW, my first "load" of ME flex track arrived yesterday. It's really nice: kind of reminds me of Atlas code 55, in that it has a "delicate" look to it.

For whatever reason, it seems flex track doesn't come with joiners. I had a bunch of Atlas N scale code 80 joiners lying about, and they fit perfectly.

Am looking forward to working with this stuff.
