Would Allie really miss is it if you took it back and replaced it?

She’d probably be okay with it, but I’d need this:

I’d love not to have to build that station again, but it’s in the wrong scale.  :(

What?!?!?!? A re-bigulator?

Well, I have been known to use it before.

DFF

There are some pieces of rolling stock that I owned in N scale that I really miss in HO.  For example, my patched Seaboard System transfer caboose No. 11111.  It's a former Clinchfield caboose still in the Family Lines scheme.

This poor little N scale caboose didn't have anywhere to run anymore, except for riding around on this HO scale bulkhead flatcar, which just wasn't cutting it for me anymore.  So, I saved up and bought "The Super Sizer" brand enlarging ray:

A quick zap of the caboose, and . . . BLAMMO!  It's all grown up!

Now to get it off-loaded.  This makes me happy.  :) :) :)

Just plop down the N scale one, don't try to hide it or explain it. Just let it vibe.

Really nice video Phil, thank you.
Next time though, less BS, more warning motorists.   :D

It wouldn't be a Railwire video without BS.  Plus @davefoxx has one of those funky new Protothrottles so while it was fun to horn crossings, it does take some getting used to.

I wish!  Anyhow, I did start the HO model last week.  Here it is next to the N scale model.  Unfortunately, the best windows that I could find (DPM) are not dimensionally accurate, so this model (like the N scale model) will only try to capture the character of the prototype.  Rivet counters need not apply.  It will take me a while, but at least we're on our way.  (Damn!  And I just made Foam Depot: The Next Generation!")  Here's the center two-story section core.  The blue masking tape is temporarily holding the windows in place.  They will not be glued in until after paint.  The model will receive a brick veneer made from N Scale Architect sheet styrene:

It's a brick building.  No rivets to count... :D

And a promising start!
