Been following along since the kudzu invasion. Your scene has developed very nicely. Looks most excellent.

Thank you, Alan!

BTW, I'll echo others' remarks: that kudzu is da bomb. Totally unique and totally convincing. Kudzos.

It’s been a helluva week, so JFRTM!  The Orange Blossom Special to be precise.

I love the kudzu on the bridge. I have the feeling it would be even better with more, like a bunch of it on the bents to the left, especially on the wooden surfaces that face the viewer.

I may do that.  I'm still going to plant kudzu behind the bridge where you see the medium green ground foam through the trestle.  I have a teeny bit of kudzu on the far left trestle bent, and I didn't want to overdo it.  If you think it could use more, I'll hit that bent just to the left of the tracks.

Thanks,
DFF

I planted kudzu behind the trestle last night, adding a bit to the trestle bent to the left of the track and as if it were climbing a tree in the background.  I went sparingly, so as to not overdo a good thing.  But, I may add a little more.  Thoughts?

You have given the indication of the veracity of that weed and you don’t want to cover up that trestle. To me the trestle is the star of the show and the kudzu is a supporting actor.  So I would say it’s “done” Dave.  Now, how often in model railroading can you say that?  Nice work.

@davefoxx , kudzos! Just what I was thinking!

You have given the indication of the veracity of that weed...

I think you mean tenacity. (Just trying to be helpful. Please don't hurt me.) ;)

@DKS, Yes, “Tenacity” absolutely.  :). I was still drinking my first cup of morning coffee. Should have waited until the 2nd cup.   :D

Thanks, guys!  Looking at it this morning, I agree.  I’ll leave it alone.  The final touch will be line poles on the SC line, so I can add Kudzu Jesus.  :)

Keep adding a little more each year to create the effect that the simulated kudzu is actually growing.
