I don't get this. I made one suggestion, and only one.

Can someone pull the stats on how many times this one suggestion was given to various threads throughout TRW history?   :D

Also, just ribbing you Pete, it honestly doesn't bother me one way on another... like moving The Canadian thread from the N scale board to the product discussion board  ;)
Because why not...

Well Pete is right, but I just figured nobody wants to see a bunch of HOn30 posts all over the place. Plus we all know I can go months without any progress. I even joke a little about jumping all over the place.

Some people compartmentalize their modeling more than others, but if everything was neatly in its place, what would those whose love to post their “don’t you know how to use the search tool?” posts do for fun?  :D

Now you can change the chatter to tell me how fugly these colors look.

I didn't want to just paint them yellow. I guess later I can print more bodies and swap them out. Maybe red.

Are you doing link & pin couplers?

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Not on this one. The slot fits a 1015 coupler.

Your grey looks a tiny bit "warm" compared to the proto.

Ya, agree.  It’s possible the prototype photo is faded, but a pass with a thinned white over your gray might work to match.

It's not a typical color and I dig it. As long as the model matches the proto that's all that matters right? 8)

Looking at the cab front on the Prototype, I think the model’s color might be a little too much on the teal side and needs some Olive Drab.
A really good fade or Limestone wash may change everything.
Great job though Chris.

About 4 or more years ago I custom mixed the paint and back then did a test on a spare N scale MDT

And I did use that paint to test these Davenports on the left:

But it was just craft store paint and you can see it peeled away from the masking tape. So I went off to Hobby Lobby to get new paint, but found out they now only sell those tiny Testors glass bottles.

So... I took some green looking self etching primer in a can and strayed it into a jar. Mixed it with some grey primer and did add a little bit of light blue. Guess the mix isn't dead on.

Final exhibit. A group with a real Plymouth from them stripped down and found the original paint. I actually have the PPG number they used:

I was just thinking about the possibility of printing a paint mask, then I get on your thread and you did it!  it's cool to see it works.

Fantastic model Chris!

A narrow gauge Davenport in HOn30 no less...

Great work as always.
