You're right...  It seems to be very hard to come by, if not completely unavailable.

One link I found listed it and it does NOT show it as "sold out".

Here's the link: https://www.walltowallstencils.com/stencil/f02488/

Jeff

I guess my post somehow disappeared. Anyways I sent them an E-mail asking about stock levels before I place an order.

Things get real when I break out the black fascia paint  :D

Isn't it amazing what that does?

This is the only scene that bothers me… the hook shaped hill over the track does not look right to me. I guess a tunnel portal was being avoided on purpose, but surely there is a better solution than such an unnatural shaped hill.

It will all be hidden by trees and a background image of some sort.

Loved the video. Concerning trees, I think the layout almost looks good as is, begging the question, would there be much more than scrubby new growth in your era? I'm always oddly surprised at how clear cut things were in photographs before and around the turn of the last century. And being steam era trees near the tracks are a fire hazard. I suppose replicating period photographs from the area is best but at least I'm giving you an out to avoid making too many trees  ;)

Little more progress on the last 0-4-0

Not diggin' my tender and might do a new 4 wheel one using a Kato SD90 truck with center wheel removed.

And no I didn't make any trees yet  :P

But I did get 2 bottles of Mudstone in the mail.

Dude...  That Sonic Mini-4K is cranking out some fantastic looking prints!

Glad the source for the paint worked out.

That should work. I’ll go back to my afternoon nap now.

That tender looks a lot like the one Ken Kidder included with their HO "plantation" locomotives; maybe the frame from one of them could be adapted? Or would it just be easier to print one?

For the tender I would want all wheel pick-up so at least the tender frame would be better 3D printed. I bought a Ken Kidder 2-6-0 with plans to convert it to HOn30, but it was just too big.
