New Atlas Catalog (Jan-Jun 2017) is out!

Atlas's new catalog for the first part of 2017 is now out. I get to fill a big hole in my roster with the announcement of SP Black Widow SD-9's in 4#'s for February. These haven't been released in this scheme since the 1st release back in 1988. I couldn't afford them then as a college student, but not gonna miss them now   . Lots of 1970's and later stuff in there. You might be pleased if you model L&N, Rock Island, WM, or Canadian railroads. No Conrail though, but I did see a PC ex-BLMA tooled gondola in there:).

Well crap, more MN&S artwork that needs correcting.   I ordered one PS4000 hopper in hopes it would get fixed before release, but that doesn't seem to be going anywhere. 

The box car I guess I can make my own decals as it's one I'd like to have.  Haven't looked at the RI PS-1 yet.  Not sure I really want to.   

What's going on Atlas?

May pick up a pair of those bankrupsty blue Rock Island GP38-2s, but I'll still have to keep hoping for a rerun of Phase V Amtrak B32-8WHs.

Does the MR&T stuff sell that well?, lots of it being shown.

A lot of good stuff there! I've already got a pair of BNSF 8-40BWs on order, and I'll be getting a bunch of the Ford LNT 9000 trucks... been waiting a long time for these. 52ft gons and quite a few boxcars will be heading my way too.

I really like the BM GP38-2 along with the EL and PC gondolas.  After looking at the HO section of the catalog, I would be happy if Atlas developed tooling for the GP39-2 and RS32/36 for N Scale.

It was late-breaking after the print catalog was finalized.

Yet another run of Hart ballast cars with no PGE map scheme . . . third time missed despite conversations with staff at Atlas.  HO scale got theirs several runs ago.

Guess I'll have to look into custom decals.

A few goodies in there for me (CN, RBOX boxes, NSC box, EL GP35, TT F89J), but...

No TH&B TT GP9, though a CIRR one. Gotta believe a TH&B would outsell CIRR.
Trucks still wrong for MLW C630, sigh.
No CN hart ballast cars.
No GP40-2L or W.
