Thanks, John.  Until you shipped the memorial train to me I had no idea that we live so close to each other.  I lived in Savoy, IL during my last two years at U of I Law School and played drums every Saturday night at The Rec Arena on south Route 45 in Savoy.  It was a ballroom dance band and I got to play with a lot of U of I School of Music professors--good times!
Best regards,

Roger

I can see it!

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

It's on the other side of the car.  And you can see the one one the end.

Lovely photo, and I'm not trying to preach here, but I hope not everybody now tries for a MR Trackside Photo style picture. Seeing shots of the train on partly- or unfinished sections of layouts means you don't have to be a NMRA-certified master craftsman to be worthy to showcase Mike's train. Sure, a great layout scene is nice but we're not honoring ourselves with this endeavor.  I think seeing Mike's train on Lee's very unfinished and homey-looking Falls Point layout would be just as spectacular a tribute to a well loved model rail as any pic from Great Model Railroads. And for a tribute, it's nice to have touches of the common as well as the elegant.

No - all is well; please be patient.  Major computer and email issues in the dispatchers office.
