Earlier this evening I was watching the Trains webcam and a BNSF freight passed and the 3rd unit was Amtrak 60.  So there is your excuse to run modern Amtrak on your trains or is that called Ed's Law?

Likely power being dead headed.
...reminds me however, In the early 1990's Wisconsin Central did lease some Amtrak F40PH units and used them in freight service...

well, seeing as the E&LS has a set of FP-9's they still use on occasion . . . . I think both of these would be Ed's Law applications.

CP leased VIA F40's (and just about everything else) in the 90's for freight use... and then there was this:
