Weathering with oil paints

I use the water soluble oils on my mini-beasts. I carefully use 70 percent alcohol for the washes. I dig the easy water cleanup with the oils.

Craig...do you find the water-soluble oils seem to dry a bit faster than regular oils??

Yes, days faster than straight oils. I apply very thin washes and things are dry in a couple of days, especially if you push powders or chalks into wet oil.
I'll also dry the car with a hairdryer in between  applications of the mediums to speed things up.

Ok...so not my imagination
I do the hair-dryer trick and the oven-light trick with both regular and water-soluble oils. It all really speeds up the drying.
