Just did a test run.  Started out fairly slow. As someone mentioned the sound is too loud and the headlight too brite which can be adjusted.  I use a lot of Kato track with some sharp curves and it ran around them with no problem, something my Key brass one never did.

They both run great!  Impressive sound, both in quality and volume.  The tender does get a bit warm.   

One of them discovered an issue with a turnout; the gauge was a hair tight on one of the tender trucks which lead to the discovery that one of the guard rails was shorted to the frog (Atlas C-55) which killed the power when the back of the wheel touched it.  I popped the guard rail off, and flash on the bottom had shorted it to the lug for the frog's electrical connection. A bit of filing on the bottom, and it seems fine now...
