Lol.

You know I only bribe for Conrail crap. Now, I'd happily slip you a Benjamin if you'd do SD40-2s...

True, but a bribe for GP30's without the fan mistake and extended range dynamic brakes (and with sill mounted handrails) would cover "Conrail Crap", "Penn Central Crap", and "The $#!+ty Kitty's $#!+"...

I already have a PC one and a pair of Conrail ones. I'm over it.

Be careful, I hear there's a bad case of "Roofer Madness" going around  :D

How about a high short hood and extended range dynamic brakes?

Wealll, while we're at it. I'll give up asking for an AS-616, but a ton of people down south would really like to see high hood GP30's and 35's :D

Well okay... if we're bribing Atlas (on someone else's dine... right?) I need a Baldwin RS-12 for my Nicolet Badger Northern. The NBN ran two engines. The Baldwin and an EMD NW2. Kato makes the NW-2, but I still need the RS-12.

When are we going to get the GARX and Post-War 40' and 50' boxcars; the PS1 in 50' varieties, and an updated version of the plug door?

There's nothing wrong with the Athearn 50' PS-1 boxcars.  It's unlikely that Atlas would introduce a set of models when a viable group already is available.

Only CGW, KCS and three private carriers had 40' PS-1 plug door boxcars, so it's not practical for a company that releases predominantly prototypical models to tool that variation.

I would argue opening doors and Athearn's infrequent production are reason enough for Atlas taking over the mantle on the 50' PS1.

And my reference to the plug door was properly punctuated and not advocating for a PS1 version, just a better detailed version of the 40' plug Atlas already makes.

But I'm glad someone's reading my original post, just wish it was someone from Atlas...

The 40' plug door car offered by Atlas is a PS-1...

Since we're wishing...

I'd really like a bunch of RTR Caswell gondolas, but can't see that happening as (I believe) they were only used by the ATSF (even though they had a lot of them.)

I'd settle for another run of Hart ballast cars in this '40-'50s era scheme:

Or even better, with "ATSF" rather than "A.T.S.F.", but no reflective panels.

Ron McF
