Hello guys , took some pictures of the new UPS trucks and trailers from Trainworx.
I think they are outstanding and the pictures show the new release and one of the old UPSZ drop trailers.

2003. By 2005 all were converted.

Russ , The T800 was released in 1986 and I do not know when UPS started using them or this model.

Not sure if this is helpful or not, but the earliest photos of a UPS LNG Kenworth T800 that I was able to find were taken in January of 2012.

I thought that "converted" meant "converted to LNG".  Isn't LNG "liquefied natural gas" fuel?

Very nice but way too new for me.  Still waiting for the "iron nose" Pete's to arrive with the flexi-van trailers.  I gotta be quick though I missed the pre-order deadline.  May spring for a set of FedEx pups and single axle tractor since I gave them a few years of my career.  For ole times sake anyway.

I think you just answered your own question. ;) My wallet is not looking so good as we speak.

So, in doing a little research, it looks like this style cab dates back to at least 2005(?). Daniel, could you or someone confirm what year(s) this model would be appropriate for...LNG and all? Is that what you meant?

....not that it really matters....probably not going to be able to resist getting one and my time period is all shot to %&*@! anyways. :facepalm: :P

As for the KW T800 cab, it goes back to 1986, and is still a current model.  As for UPS acquiring the T800 with LNG as the fuel, that occurred in late 2011 or early 2012.  UPS began using the new (and current) logo in 2003.

As Daniel mentioned, the trucks were converted to the new logo rather quickly, but the trailers took a lot longer.

Edit:  I have found no evidence of UPS using the KW T800 prior to late 2011 or early 2012.  The LNG fueled trucks appear to be the only KW T800s in the fleet.  He also told me in Sacramento that one of the tractors (I think it was the one with the tandem rear axles, and I also think that is why Pat did not do a lot of different numbers for this tractor) was used exclusively along the I-15 corridor from either Bozeman, MT or Pocatello, ID down to Los Angeles, CA.  But, I have only seen the single rear axle KW T800 tractors on that route.  However, I think the single rear axle tractors may venture beyond the I-15 corridor, but I have not found any photographic evidence for it.
