Okay guys
This is one of my first threads, so bare with me, but I had this really cool idea after watching this guy's vids.

He made this really cool static grass generator  and my fly swatter unit don't  work for nothing, very weak! So I went on Ebay and ordered the ion generator and thought. " There's got to be a better way!" BING!!! Water bottle! I have most of the parts already so this thread I'll show you my version, while I complete this project this week I'll take pics. as I go along. Feel free to discuss while I do this.
Parts are,water bottle, powerindicator led, plug from rc car, 12 vdc power supply, on/off sw. 12vdc Ion generator from ebay.
HOPE IT WORKS!!!

Well that was easy I just searched ion generator 12volts and pick someone close to me.

what i got done so far and i have to wait till things dry, you can't see it but the reason i choose this water bottle is that it has the upper chamber that i sealed off with a plexi-glass circle and silicon, and i cut off the lower part of the bottle and shaved another 1/2" to make a removable base for wiring and future access, this ill just simply tape on but rc plug will go on base to conect to 12volt charger, indicator led to tell me when ground power is ON, cause this can be dangerous when powered so i want to have an indication that the power to grid is on, i may also use a tiny plug for removal of the ground wire. keep in mind this thing will pump out 9000 volts.
 feel free to correct me if i"m wrong. please comments and input will be greatly takin in.

HALF WAY DONE!!, 12volt supply hooked up and tested to rc plug, wired to switch mounted on side of bottle for easy access, LED mounted on former bottom of bottle. now i have to wire the  ion generator and maybe some kind of fuse in this thing, then need plug for static ground mount.
everything is heat shrinked, zip tied and protected.

FINISHED!!!
I found a 16 guage automotive connector for the ground wire removal, wiring was a little crazy, BUT my friend LUKE from down under on his  part 2 vid explaines it all.
he's awesome can't wait to send him pictures or maybe he's part of this forum or will be.
hope you get some ideas from this cause the electric fly swatter is now in the trash!
other thoughts from this project is that a plastic coctail mixer would work great too, i was looking at some in the store yesterday. they woud wok the same way as this water bottle did.
hopefully next post will be some grass standing up on end, this will also work great for our friend from the UK who makes those wounderful trees in the other threads.

Maybe I missed it, but what keeps the grass out of the area where all of the electronics are?

welll..... little bad news.... turns out 12 volt power supply reads 0 on my amp meter, off for a hunt on another.may have to ebay cause radio shack is closed.
i guess this what happens  on post as I go thread.
postive note it did power up on a 9 volt battery but not strong enough to pull only a couple of grass fibers up, kinda like my fly swatter little weak.
 not worth posting pictures.

Probably on the "waist" area of that bottle, correct?
