You can't send a check electronically from your bank, online?

For some reason, I still don't think "ebay" first when it comes to this stuff. Thanks, Chris.
Bryan, I didn't even know that was an option. I've never had to do it. I don't even use a check to pay rent utilities. All online.

You should be able to use that same bill-pay option to send an electronically-induced paper check to an entity that doesn't accept electronic transfers. I do it all the time in both Bank of America and TD Bank. Model Railroad manufacturers, distributors and suppliers, for example, don't accept electronic transfers. Those that I have terms with, I use electronic checks rather than a debit card.

Nowadays you can pretty much find anything on both Amazon and eBay (see if you can find EZ Line on Amazon).  :)

Also, doesn't Paypal offer electronic check service?

EZ Line ordered off Ebay.
So, I'm successfully drilling holes in the side of this car. The bit where I start with the Xacto blade to start the hole really helped. We're in business. Stay tuned...

Good evening all,

Have you considered the possibility that in addition to the side straps that there may be three L shaped brackets on each end bolting the turbine to the flatcar?  They aren't in the picture shown.  Lets say the middle brackets might have 3 slots going through to the turbine base and three slots going through to the flat car bed.  Let's also say the outside brackets might have 2 slots going through the turbine base and 2 slots going through to the flatcar bed.  Lets say I say no more here as this might already be more than I'm allowed to say due to confidentiality clauses.

Sorry for being so cryptic,
Bobster

All right...you have my attention!
I have to wonder what sort of NDA would make you keep what tasty information you have under wraps and what it could possibly harm. Something with Westinghouse? Something with Kohs? Hmm...

Good afternoon,

Siemens owns the Westinghouse Turbine/Generator business.   The company I work for has a non disclosure agreement with Siemens.   Therefore I must limit my information to what would be observable from the road.   If I purchased a multi-million dollar turbine I would want it attached by more than straps.  I also see no straps holding the current products to the eight axle flat cars I drive past daily.

Out for now,
Bobster

A good point this is. Given the perceived mass of the turbine, those straps aren't likely to hold it back for long if it decided to shift:

Edit:
As a counter point, those angled straps are visible on the prototype photo on N Scale Kits's website.
