I started a thread the other day that featured a beautiful layout in France; because it is HO, it was moved to that scale's "category".

Here's one that is N scale, and shows that these Euro modelers can do great things with scenery on a large layout as well.

See what you think.

PS: maybe they can do such fine work because they don't have to spend all that time converting to MT couplers :)

I'm not sure how to attach a link, but if you type in the title listed above on Youtube, it should come right up.

Very impressive.  I think the Midwest Modutrak guys have some international competition.  I rode on the Settle-Carlisle line recently.  Looks just like it and I recognized Dent station.

How deep are those modules?  Looks like 4 feet easily, but that could be that amazing scenery - looks simply bucolic but seems to contain the complex drainages etc. that you see everyday but get overlooked in modeling so often.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Thanks for posting this!  Brilliant!

As an American, British railroads fascinate me. Very cool! There is something special about English rail scenes, stations, stone walls, old churches, etc...

I have often thought of making a small British themed layout...
