Hmm... did I win the
contest yet...?

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

I think I got it fairly close.

I couldn't find pictures of the other side so I kind of winged it.

I thought about it briefly but I saw some of what I was up against and said I need to work on my golf game.  Bring on the voting !

this contest gave me the needed push to try weathering. That Union Pacific hopper was my first real attempt at weathering

It's more about taking that first step. It's really not as hard as it seems. You learn a lot on your first car and each project will get better!

I'm taking my final photos right now and will post shortly.

Items of note:
Color on wheels and oily journal boxes. Chalking on the lettering. Rust pattern aimed to match prototype.
High-res pics are attached below.
I also lowered the car since the last round. I also made stirrups. Added some dirt to the trucks and applies raw umber to the centers of the larger rust spots and burnt sienna around the edges to give it a three color depth (burnt umber was the base).

My angles were a lot a bit off but whatever  :ashat:
