There is already a 3-page thread with the actual ad included in the Product Discussion section of TRW.

But a chop-job on a modern nicely-made K4 could become a really good E6.  (Yes, it's not even in the stores yet,
and I am postulating on how to saw it in two to make something else out of it)

That's it.  That's what all of the hub-bub is about?  Man, that locomotive has a face only an SPF could love.

That's more the Q2. Either way, this SPF loves those faces.

I'm up here near Huntington, PA with Ed and Lee, sharing a warm, even sweaty embrace. All the feels, man.
Josh Surkosky

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Cool, I may just have to buy one for the hell of it, lord knows the MSRP is just a number... Those will most likely sell around $200-250... If that...

So how about a AEM-7?

Or.... A proper Santa Fe Northern... Not that crap Bmann sells as a train set item...
Could use 2900 series and 3750 series...

Yes!
Unfortunately, the current issue of NSR has a full page Bachmann ad announcing "polular steam now in new roadnames", with the same recycled POC Northern now available in Great Northern green with a Vandy tender
It's also available in Santa Fe of course, what an embarrassment...
This is the model and what she *should* look like:

They can't even get the lettering right.
But I am happy for my Pennsy friends 8)

PRR 1361 is the Conrail unit, so I may have to pick one up.

End of the K4 rumors???  :scared: :o.

Kind of anticlimactic in an odd way. (not even time to complain about production delays  :) )
