New Decals from Microscale This Month - M&StL and PRR

I got an email from Microscale showing 2 new decal sets. Here is what they say:

"This month we bring you two new decal sets that modelers have been asking for lately. Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) Early Freight Cars and Minneapolis & St. Louis (MSTL) 40' & 50' Boxcars.

"HO 87-1509 or N 60-1509: Minneapolis & St. Louis (MSTL) 40' & 50' Boxcars - The M&StL was founded in 1870, and expanded through rail line construction and acquisitions until the early 20th century. Most of the railway's routes were used lightly and subsequently the company's financial position was frequently challenged; the railroad operated under bankruptcy protection between 1923 and 1943. The M&StL was acquired by the Chicago and North Western Railway in 1960, and much of its former trackage was later abandoned.

"HO 87-1510 or N 60-1510: The Pennsylvania Railroad (reporting mark PRR) was founded in 1846. PRR is often referred to as the "Pennsy," the PRR was headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The PRR was the largest railroad by traffic and revenue in the United States during the first half of the twentieth century. Over many years PRR expanded by acquiring or merging with hundreds of smaller road names. At the end of 1925, it operated 10,515 miles of rail line and in the 1920s, it carried nearly three times the traffic as other railroads of comparable length, such as the Union Pacific or Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe railroads. Its only formidable rival was the New York Central (NYC), which carried around three-quarters of PRR's ton-miles. This decal set will provide the graphics you need to decorate early 40' & 50' Boxcars. You can find some great photo examples on rrpicturearchives.net."

Hmm... the SPFs always
get new stuff...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

What?! Did someone say K4? Nevermind...  Oh yeah the decals. Curious choices. Glad to see the GLd, now I can fix the Bachmann, but the PRR only had 300 of these cars. The X29, ok, I can see that, but the G26 and X38? None the less, glad to see this and I will be buying several sets. Thanks Microscale.  8)

Never argue with idiots; they'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Figures they come out with the GLd decals after I had to draw my own, but I'm glad to see them nonetheless so others can fix their Bachmann models.
