While I will still be hooked up to a dialysis machine in August Jason Shron and Bill Schneider from Rapido will be there - we will be making a couple of announcements at Portland including a new N scale passenger car (well; kinda two new passenger cars... technically.... sort of...) and a new truck... not a road truck, a rail truck... um.. ah.. you know, the kind that goes under a rail car.... We hope to have more decorated samples of the FL9 and reefer there as well, plus a "surprise" in N scale... well it won;t be a surprise then because we're announcing it before Portland but it's a surprise now.... oh forget it.....

Sorry; haven't had coffee yet! :D
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

~Bruce:  May I ask why you dislike Oregon, or would the answer violate forum rules?

I will definitely be there.   Heck, it's right in my back yard!
I also attended the 1994 convention here in Portland.   I never imagined back then that I would one day be living here.
Funny world.

My plan is to go in most days, and catch some clinics and one layout tour I booked, and to definitely
go to the big open train show/swap meet at the end of the week.  I really do hope that somehow
we Railwirians (? is that a word)  can organize to spend some time meeting face to face and socializing.

I've been looking forward to this one for a couple of years.

Obviously, it's all because he can't refuel his own vehicle there. :D

That's my hope too, Max.

Hello. The North Bank Road will be on the tour for that Monday. I just returned from a great convention in Sacramento. The Portland area is home to many awesome layouts. I look forward to sharing the progress I have made here and seeing everyone from the forum.

See you in Portland, Rick

Mike:  Then I assume he won't go to New Jersey either?

So, here is the $50 questions, How often are you being dialysized? and are you using one of the private clinics for your dialysis? you might be able to find a dialysis center local to the area, and still be able to attend...
