Yes and F7s as well. The F3s are a real welcome addition.

Look for three more new locomotive body styles coming to Z from AZL before the end of the year!

@ztrack , was there some recent announcements that I missed? A z scale Milwaukee F7 would certainly be interesting.

Also, send thanks to AZL for keeping true to their announcements.  I remember years ago hearing a lot of promises and thinking that AZL could never deliver.  But true enough, they are.

Thanks Tom. I will pass it on. I am not sure what the road names for the F7s will be. We just started receiving the F3s. I do believe a few more road names for the F3s are still to come.

AZL is really pushing Z today. We do hope that more N scalers will take notice and try out Z. While I can't comment on all the new releases coming, four that AZL as been very public about are SD45s, ES4400AC, corn syrup tank cars, and 64' mechanical (Trinity?) reefers. I am expect all three of these releases in the coming months.

You can find more information on the SD45s here:

If you're in the "passing along" mood  :D , please pass along something else:

Quote from: tom mann
Z scale requires body mounted couplers. It is too light for anything but.  I don't care if people want to run 4" curves with AZL autoracks and SD70s.  Body mounts should be mandatory.

Those paint-outs are pretty nice too. Can't wait to see the MTL-AZL F7 comparison.

You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

I think we are moving that way. Let's face it, truck mounts are key for operations. Body mounts offer great detail and prototypical look. We have had some real changes in Z over the past few years. One of the larger one was Rokuhan offering larger radius sectional track (245mm and 270mm) curves. With broader curves becoming more of the norm in Z, I think the options for body mount are more realistic.

I also would like to see the couplers in Z reduced down in size slightly. AZL is trying to do more with close coupling, but I think we won't really achieve this until the couplers are smaller. But hey, we are making strides!

I am with you guys on the paint-outs. I wasn't sure how these would come out. I have to say, they look much better than I had hoped for. On some of the schemes, they really stand out.
