Hi Peteski,

Wanted to bring this topic back up. Ever since your post about not being fond of Taskboard (nothing wrong with what you said, your opinion is fine) my sales dropped in the N scale bridge. Z has been going gang busters. I'm not saying it's your fault, I'm just wondering if it turned off any TRW prospective buyers because it is made up of Taskboard (and some laserboard). So, a friend took my kits and demo bridges to NTS and displayed in his vendor booth. People were amazed with the bridges and the kits sold out right away. Now I'm busy cutting taskboard with new orders post NTS :)  Just wanted to bring this up once again to let you guys know that taskboard, put together and painted is very sturdy, very detailed, and from what I'm hearing is very enjoyable to build.

Well Peteski, you ARE a good modeler and since you frequent this, and only this forum I figure guys must pay attention to your words. Read my quote above again. I'm not saying you dissed my bridge and I put no fault upon you. My concern was the less than favorable mention of taskboard. For N scale this is now also my only forum. There are more Z forums where I announce Z products but TRW is the only N forum that I like and who have accepted me as a woman modeler and manufacturer so gracefully. I personally pay attention to people's opinion online anywhere from apps to Amazon products. The less stars the least likely i am to get it. But, as I mentioned before, ever since NTS my N bridges have sold very very well. I am burning 4 more kits as I write this.

Please forgive me for wording my concerns incorrectly. I meant no harm and I appreciate that you publicly praise my work. All good?

That might be a very, very, very small product line  :D :D :D

Maybe there's a market here for you, Peteski.  Like Good Housekeeping... This product carries the Peteski seal of approval...
in my civvies here.  I only represent my grandmothers home made Mac and Cheese on Railwire.

Karen, I personally didn't think you blamed Peteski, so I don't think you need to apologize for a misworded message.  The message was perfectly clear, corresponding the drop in sales to a post and how the kit sold as it should at NTS.  I blame it on coincidence, we don't really pay attention to Peteski anyway.

No need for apology Karin - I wasn't mad or upset.  All good!  ;)

I was simply surprised that someone would think that my opinion (about the taskboard) has such a strong influence on others.  At least that was how I interpreted your message.  While this is the only forum I frequent, there are quite a few of Z-scalers here too.  They probably also read my opinion about the taskboard.

I also read product reviews while deciding which product to choose, but I don't think that I have ever made a choice based on just single opinion from a single person.  I would hope that nobody else would either.  Anywasy, I'm glad that the bridge is selling well again, in N and Z versions.

Right, nobody is listing to my ramblings.   :)
Here are some excerpts from Karin's post: Ever since your post about not being fond of Taskboard my sales dropped in the N scale bridge. . . I'm just wondering if it turned off any TRW prospective buyers because it is made up of Taskboard.

I don't know about you, but to me that seems to imply that my opinion could have influenced other modelers.  Nowhere in my replay to Karin I mentioned that Karin was to blame for directly contributing for the drop in sales to me. I simply stated that I didn't think I had such a strong influence on other modelers.

Well Joe, if we go by the thousands of N scale items I have accumulated over the years (and about a third of that is Micro-Trains items), it is not as small as you would think.  But they are all very carefully chosen, and all are Peteski-approved.  :D

Really?   Why would your gender matter?  Things are still really that bad out there on other forums? As long as you are a model-railroader, that is all that should matter.

My theory is the masses were preoccupied with babbling about that stupid K4.  With those threads locked, we can pay attention to what really matters, Karin's products.  :D  (Seriously, I love the kit and want one, but all my money's unwillingly tied up in wireless infrared surveillance gadgets at the moment.)  As for being a woman, I think that all that matters on TRW is that you put your pants (or skirt) on one a$$ at a time.
