I use woodland and don't have any issues with floating. What I do see is the need for two apps of glue mixture at fifty fifty. Kirk

Thank you to all out there for the information offered. I will spend a bit time to find out what is easily available to me, as I will need a large ampount to complete my layout, and apply the various methods described to apply the ballast.
