Mold polishing and some additional details to come.  NOTE.  I snapped on the Baggage roof, this will not be the one included.

Is the mail catcher molded in or a separate piece?  Can't tell from the shadows.

Speaking as someone who painted an RPO into GTW black and green and then had to add the gold stripe decals, I vote for a separate piece, that is in some way removable without breaking it in half.  With it molded on, masking becomes sloppy at best, and trying to get the decals where you want them is something of a challenge.

Does anyone have a drawing of the prototype with dimensions on it?  Curious to see what else could be done with this one.

Thanks,
Brian.

Since the test shot body is fitted with the Erie baggage roof, it would appear to be the same dimensions as the Erie model.

Looks like a good lookin' model, but one that I'll probably pass on. Still got several Hell Gate BM70k's to build. Might equip them with the new MT 3D-7P2 trucks, though.

You can never have enough RPOs! I am quite pleased at how much better my B70 looks with minimal minimal effort. It is a good choice for those who can't get their hands on the HGM kits or who don't want to build one.

I should be able to use it as a decent stand-in for this (the Hellsgate BM70 would also be a decent starting place):
