May 2015 is only few months away.  Cheer up!

Hey, I'm still waiting for Rapido Osgood-Bradley cars - nowhere in sight, and the Turbo train (it has probably been close to 10 years).  :P  Still alive and kickin'

1. Osgood Bradley cars - original tooling rejected by Rapido (me) - pictures of samples seen by several modellers so check with Bryan B for confirmation they exist. New tooling being scheduled for after CNY, samples expected late spring for initial review.

2. Turbo - Rapido Trains Inc. has never formally announced an N scale Turbo. Jason Shron has said in public that we want to do a Turbo. We are unsure of the actual market for a N scale Turbo - a "teaser" ad that DID NOT announce anything about the Turbo was placed a year and a half ago to see what kind of response we would get. An N scale Turbo is a huge development project; we pick away at it but we are not close to announcing an N scale Turbo yet people are "waiting, nowhere insight, it has probably been close to 10 years, etc.." for their Turbo... If we haven't announced one then how can people be waiting for us to deliver....? Until we actually announce we're committed to building a Turbo then how about we don't infer that we are making people wait for their Turbo....

Sorry but really; you have no idea how frustrating it is to have people walk up to you in a mean spirited and accusing tone and demand information on where their Turbo is.... We can cause enough delays and problems ourselves ( :trollface:, hey, I can laugh at myself...) on products we are committed to without being held accountable for a project we haven't even announced...)

Sorry Peteski; kinda seems like I'm aiming at you; I'm not - just kind of tired of the Turbo thing..... some people, especially at shows, get down right rude about it..... and it's tiring. Sorry kind sir...... :|

I know Puddy,  I should have been clearer here - I wasn't complaining about these items - just trying to show that waiting until May is not all that bad compared to some other models we (the N scale communitiy) are waiting for.

I don't think I have really ever griped about OG cars being delayed - I rather have them late and up to Rapido's high standards than rushed.  Turbo Train - let's not even discuss that one further (but I'm still hoping for N scale one within my lifetime).  I don't think that any of my discussions about the Turbo Train with the Rapido staff (at the Springfield show since that is the only place we interact) were ever mean-spirited or rude.  I know that you didn't specifically mean me.

Speaking of Rapido's very high standards and quest for perfection (as clearly shown in the very obsessive FL-9 nose profile research) - there is another N scale offering coming up where to me the quest for perfection seemed to have gotten lost. I'll just leave it at that.  ;)

i have waited since 1967 for an n-scale pennsy h30 covered hopper and the b&o wagon-top caboose and within the past week i received both fantastic fox valley models via blw.  thanks matt.

Oh, come on Pud, it wasn't that bad.  You have to admit, the first attempt at least resembled a Pullman Bradley Light Weight.  The trucks looked nice ... so did the seats! :P
