Setting up the N Scale Vehicle Association booth with Deluxe. I dropped a tray of custom built vehicles on the concrete.

Carnage!
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

I spent the past two nights building, painting, ballasting, and weathering the bridge representing the 4th crossing of Tehachapi Creek on my layout.

Wow Chris that bridge looks great . That's a ballasted deck ? Don't see length of that type among modelers much .

@Missaberoad congrats on getting Tom's book! That and the work of others here inspired me, too.

I think I'm finally finished with this.
Check out this thread for more everything in painful detail.

Josh Surkosky

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Thanks guys! Yes, up1950s, it's a ballasted deck girder - just like its real world counterpart.

I was able to drag my :ashat: to the basement long enough to add a sign to the Vulcan Mfg building:

Chris:  I agree - very nice bridge.  Don't usually see piers that fancy on model bridges either.

A very nice and well deserved tribute....
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!
