New price setting

By May 22nd 2017 Shapeways will radically change the way how product prices are calculated. This will affect the price of the majority of our products. The effect for our customers is that for quite some products we can lower the price, for some products prices stay (almost) the same, and for some products the price will go up.

Prices will especially go up for sets that contain many smaller items, sets with 4 cars or more, and almost all our BONUS SETS. So, if you’re interested in some of these kits we advise you to order these kits well before May 22nd.

As announced, many of our products got a new permanent pricing. As of May 25th we have lowered over 1000 prices of our products! All the tools printed in FUD and FXD became cheaper. In some cases the price reduction is up to 31%!

New: Mercedes-Benz LP 608 Mobile Bank

​The light weight Mercedes with the ‘cubic cab’ arrived in 1965. The LP 608 proved to be a very popular truck in Germany and reached a market share of 45%. The kit is a replica of a so-called mobile bank. The mobile banks drive around according a plan and stop at “stops” in smaller towns, rural areas and suburbs. Models are delivered unpainted.
Before painting, the model needs to be cleaned.

IFA produced between 1968 and 1990 many pop-up campers. The IFA Camptourist was branded ‘Oase’ or ‘Alpenkreuzer’ in Western European countries. In the GDR this pop-up camper was known under the name ‘Klappfix’. Model is delivered unpainted.

Hi,

A little novelty that will suit very well nearside station buildings or squares is this pissoir.
This pissoir was built in 1923 at Deventer Station (The Netherlands). It is a double pissoir intended for the oncoming or departing male travelers. The pissoir is designed in the style of the Amsterdam School. After 80 years, the building was moved to the Holland Open Air Museum in Arnhem.
