Dave, I am definitely interested in seeing this article. We'd love to feature it in N-Scale Magazine. Just let me know when you're ready, and we'll get it scheduled.

Sweet!  I have a few key things yet to finish before I'm up for a real photo session.  Hopefully it represents just a few more weeks of work.

If nothing else it's very different than my Pennsy layout (and I have a much better camera now too).

How about another quick article on her for the Steam Annual?

I haven't modded anything, actually...  Just re-lettered.  Not sure that's article-worthy.

I imagine an article on creating the fleet and the compromises involved in modeling early 1900s steam would be pretty interesting.

I was planning on that being the theme for the article for N Scale.  There's nothing truly unique about what I'm doing except the prototype itself, hence my angle.

That was pretty much the thought behind my comment and I agree that would be the best angle, there was a MR article of similar vein, something like "why I model 1905".
Would make for interesting reading...

Dave this layout really is gorgeous.  You've really captured the look and feel of the location and your rock work looks amazing.  I feel like such a slacker now that you have finished another layout and I'm still working on my first.

Again, great work!

Modeling the L&N, well at least a few times a year.

My rocks have nothing on your rocks, man.  You've inspired me to spend a lot more time on my rocks.
