[ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ] nice MODELING jason! the gs1 looks good.

ill toot the ntrak  steam addendum  horn again.  this Santa fe 2-10-2  article well be in the upcoming issue. it  started as a Bachmann light usra and was  transformed into a Santa fe 1600class  while retaining and reusing as many parts as possible.

Very nice GS-1 and very tempting. I have a question but do not want to get off thread topic.

Hey Kiz, here's a better view of my GE factory kitbash.I've altered this thing so many times I have almost run out of ideas for it. :D The building to it's immediate right was a MP movie theature it is about to become a hobby shop.Except for the front door the rest of the lower front came off a Evergreen Plastics rack.

This part of downtown has been my layout project today.More pics tomorrow if I make any significant progress.

Thanks for the photo. All 3 buildings look great together!

Hmm... I have 18 banana

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Not much of what I do is photo worthy, but I've been plugging along on body mounting 1015's on TLT NSC newsprint boxcars and putting BLMA 70T trucks under them... 53 down, three to go.

Have also done my first MTL boxcar body mount. A while back I'd received some good advice here on the best approach to this, which was to drill a new hole between the two factory one's on the MTL cars and tap it. So, I bought a manual tapping fixture, which made both drilling and tapping rather easy. So, so many of these to do, but worth it imo as they look so much better body mounted and riding on BLMA's.

The North Raleigh Model Railroad Club has T Track set up at the TCA show here in Raleigh this weekend.  I figured that this will be my last chance to run trains for a while.

Sorry for the cell phone grab.

No modeling this week. The basement got its first coat of primer. The doors for the storage areas and closets came in. Very close to starting painting.

I have settled on wall mounted open grid for the bench work. Now I just need a good track plan... something I am very bad at.

The family has given up and finally come around to realize that the trains are not going anywhere. They now are supporting the hobby. Mom lands a deal on ebay and the first R1 rolls through town in 1919(it is a Christmas present but had to make sure it worked.)

Adding to the Pearl Harbor theme, here's a shot of a T Trak module from several years ago that a student made in a US History class review group that used TTrak modules focused on specific events they needed to know for an end of course standardized test.
