I've added street lines, R X R markings, and sidewalks to the streets of Spring Grove.

are you planning to wrap those sidewalks around the side of the buildings as well?

Probably around the green corner building. Between the plant office and the next building will be an alley so no sidewalk there.

Scratched out the coal load out and the overhead conveyor/walkway over Main St.

Work continued in Spring Grove. More ballast and ground cover.
While in town, I heard horns blowing and caught CORP 2064/2065 coming back from Porters with a short string of boxcars. Was able to catch a couple shots of them blasting thru at Main St.

Needed a changeup from paper mill and building work so went to the other end of layout between Ag-Com and Bittinger. It was decided to have the quarry/pits in the aisle, so the area between the backdrop and mainline will become a hillside covered in trees. Coming upgrade, I had the main come up thru a rock cut behind the mine loadout.

I missed adding work to the warehouse as well. This is known as the " Black Shed ". It used to be black so everyone called it the black shed. It's been repainted since, but the name sticks. I still need to model an overhead door and roof overhang where that goes, a brick divide in the roof where it looks like the building is divided or an addition was done years ago, and I just noticed looking at photos the end of building pictured needs an overhead door and roadway/ground level with it so vehicle/forklift traffic can get in and out.
This end of the building has a mandoor and stairway coming down. There is a holding tank for turpentine and a spot for a single tank car for loading. I need to find a suitable tank and gangway/fill station for it.

Looking good! The cut came out nicely, and I'll admit the bark surprised me but works. Good variation on trees too, well done.
