I am currently doing a kitbash
and I know there will be places that need to be filled in and sanded smooth
one is a steam boiler the other a diesel body
I have seen photos of others' work when what seemed to be a filled-in part
had some blue colored substance
it would probably be some kind of putty that works well in such fixes
can anybody share some information about what it is and from where it is available
any information will be sincerely appreciated

Automotive body spot putty is also actually a viable option.

I agree with the Bondo Spot putty. It's Orange.

thanks for the very timely replies
Chris...yes, it might have been "green"
the other two suggestions I will certainly look in to
anyone know what might be best with shapeways FUD?
or GHQ pewter?
does it make a difference?
again, thanks much!

It may be 3M's no longer in production blue body putty. I use their red filler now. I have use both acrylic as well as the regular 3M Red. One tube will last you several life times, but great stuff.
