B&O Diner Question

Howdy.  Looking into doing our new Diner in the Blue and Grey B&O to match the cars we have already done.  I see that  most of the info pertains to the modernized F8's in that scheme...did the scheme see action on pre modernized cars?  I will be posting shots of the Diner stuck together later today.

Thanks in advance.

I think they were all in the solid blue scheme.  I want to say there's a picture of a blue and grey one in the color guide?  It probably has sealed thermopane windows but the roof is unmodified.  That's probably more important, to my mind at least.  I'll do more digging when I get home.

I concur with Aaron, thought they were all-blue.

Joe,

Of course, if you did a full Harriman roof, that would give you LOTS of options!

Hi Joe.
How do you select which road name to produce each month? Judging by the number of roads you currently have other products for, I would think that there is a pent up demand for the dining cars. Especially as we get closer to Christmas and with the train show circuit just starting, I would think you would issue more than one a month.

PS I'm still waiting for the New Your Central paired window coaches to come out. The NYC was coming at one car a month and then none for the last 3 months.

Actually it was already released, but they listed it as a parlor car.
Early on, the parlor cars were converted to coaches. The parlor cars thus became one class of paired-window coaches.
Micro-Trains even released it with a correct coach car number rather than an original parlor car name.

When did they release it. Do they still have any. My dealer didn`t  see it either. Do you know who has any.
