Hello all,
 I'm eagerly waiting for this release ( I'm expecting to buy multiples for core car use)...
Is there any news on release dates?

I'm sure Joe will provide an update but based on the fact they decided on their prototype a few months ago, and given what seems to be the normal product development cycle I would venture a guess that Q2- early Q3 2015 target would be fair.... Joe could elaborate.

We are setting up mold blocks and the like soon, so I suspect spring or so 15.

Thank you, both, for the news!...
as I said, this one will be a multiple (more than 10!) buy, just as cores for ATSF heavyweight projects, in addition to two in Erie livery as seen in ATSF's Fast Mail!
This prototype is such a 'typical' heavyweight design, that I'm sure it's going to also serve as a core for other foreign roads' heavyweights...Looking very forward to thisone.

I don't think it's going to be a CB&Q prototype.

Alas, nobody makes prototypical CB&Q models in Nscale. Why is that? Because they did build their own cars instead of buying them?

I am not a rivet counter for CB&Q heavyweights if a great looking stand in is available.  Anything will look better than the WOT cars.
