Sounds like we need to go back to our roots!  N scale!   :D

Just like the  original model T, you can have color you want as long as it is black........You can discuss any scale here as long as it is N scale! :D

Oh and a proto board is cool.

The roots were actually just Railroad Industry News, hence the name Railwire.

When I first found it is basically n scale, so I guess it is just my perspective.

With only 30 Z posts in two years, I doubt there will be a problem...

No place for kute kitty videos though - bummer!   :D

Hey, who moved my cheese?  :P

Never mind "who moved": Who ate my cheese (and then cut the cheese)!?  ;)

Those three Z scale modelers are going to be awe fully upset when they log on to not post anything...

While the point that the miniscule number of Z scale posts will be but a drop of water in the N scale ocean is valid, I would still prefer to see N by itself, then "Other scales" (T through LGB).  That would restore the balance in the universe!   :D

Just replace the forum sections with "N scale" and "Everything Else." That ought to go over well...

I don't care enough to care, but I'm with Peteski on this one. Anything else would be inappropriate.

ljudice:  How about bacon?

As for the N and Z together, as a part-time Nn3 modeler, Z scale information comes in quite handy.  I don't mind them being together at all.  For "Product Discussion" there shouldn't be any problem having all of the scales together if topic starters remember to put the scale in the title.

Thanks for adding the bookmark feature!  I plan to not use it on this thread.  :)

Best wishes, Dave

Out of all the complete crap that is on the internet I don't think a couple small changes will hurt this place. The Railwire website is very easy to use so if anyone involved wants to change things around that is just fine, the site still "works".

I think if you let some time pass you will see nothing has really changed.

We went through a period of "adjustment" to the forums about four or five years ago, and we all survived.  So much so, that people are now complaining about changing that format.  You'll get used to it.  The sky is not falling.

I still recommend using the "Show Unread Posts Since Last Visit" or the "Show New Replies to Your Posts" buttons at the top of the screen.  Then the change to the individual forums won't bother you.
